Does anyone know how stage 1 of Falcon 9 is guided immediately after stage separation?
I'm not interested at this point in getting it to a precise landing spot, nor am I interested in the landing itself.
I just want to know: What attitude is the stage commanded to in those first 15 seconds?
I've read the stage is commanded to 120 degree pitch rotation, but is this relative to its its final separation pitch angle?
And what then? As the stage reenters thick atmosphere, drag increases, and it seems important to keep angle of attack to a minimum---at zero, even, if possible.
So I'm wondering if stage 1 is commanded to zero angle of attack after it rotates following separation. Does anyone know?
