I've seen multiple images taken from outside the Space Station (like [this one](http://www.iflscience.com/sites/www.iflscience.com/files/styles/ifls_large/public/blog/%5Bnid%5D/1024px-STS132_undocking_iss2.jpg?itok=p5rB-t3-)) and even timelapses from far outside showing the solar panels moving over time. Is there a satellite that follows the ISS that they could take pictures from that distance? I can't imagine they have an astronaut out that far away from the station. Does anyone know the exact way they take these type of pictures?
