Autonomous Spaceport Drone Ship (ASDS) is the SpaceX mobile landing barge that serves as a landing platform for Falcon 9R first stage recovery after it has boosted the rocket's upper stage and spacecraft towards orbit.

SpaceX named their first operational ASDS, built on a Marmac 300 hull in service from November 2014 was named "Just Read The Instructions".

In June 2015, the ships 'mind' was transferred from Marmac 300 to Marmac 304 with new enclosed structures for its wings. The wings from Marmac 300 were cut off, and loaded onto Marmac 303, to be named "Of Course I Still Love You" so it can fit through the Panama Canal and reassembled on the West Coast to catch stages launched from Vandenberg at SLC-4W.

The names come from a science fiction series by Ian M Banks where the ships have funny names, attached to the artificial intelligence that is installed in the ship. Thus the ability to transfer the 'mind' model.
