I'm a sci-fi author, unrepresented, currently on my third book in a series set in the asteroid belt in the 2060's. I try to keep my stories as close to scientific accuracy as possible, with no magic spacewarps or phasers. As such, if I should ever become famous enough for someone to ask questions about my books on here, I'd expect criticism not only based on inconsistencies in the books (many) but inconsistency with the real world.
Update 2015. I've now switched to a nearer-future series of stories, set closer to Earth and with more focus on the technical details. Folks on here have been a great help in providing realism input, especially to a space station I am setting up at Earth-Moon Lagrange 1, referred to in the stories as 'the hump.'
