Space nut since early boyhood. Grew up fascinated by the first days of manned space flight. Have scrapbooks filled with articles covering the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs. Served for 39 years as a full-time member of the New York Air National Guard, retiring in 2009 as a Chief Master Sergeant. Plan to be around to see the first boot prints on Mars.
